Abstract: Mythopoetics is one of the key directions of literary analysis, exploring the integration of mythological structures, images and motifs into works of fiction. This article examines the theoretical foundations of mythopoetics, its evolution and the main methods of analysis, including structuralist, psychoanalytic, cultural-historical and intertextual approaches. Particular attention is paid to the influence of myth on the formation of literary texts, as well as to its role in the literary tradition of various cultures.
