Abstract: The article examines the leading trends in the field of film and television in Azerbaijan, including the development of national cinema, recent changes in television, and the role of documentary film as an audiovisual art. Special attention is given to the evolution of artistic education in film and television arts, the impact of international cooperation, and the importance of cultural heritage and social issues in contemporary cinematic and television projects. The key stages of development of the Azerbaijani film industry and its modern infrastructure are described, including the role of educational institutions and the active participation of students in international film festivals.
