Abstract: The genus name Ruandella Risbec, 1957 (type species: R. testacea) is a junior homonym of Ruandella Roewer, 1956 (Arachnida). Subba Rao (1972) placed Turnerella Subba Rao, 1971 and Macchiencyrtus Annecke, 1971 as junior subjective synonyms of Ruandella Risbec, 1957, and noted that Turnerella Subba Rao, 1971 is itself a junior homonym of Turnerella Cockerell, 1910 (Hymenoptera: Colletidae). This leaves Macchiencyrtus Annecke, 1971 gen. rev. (type species: M. stigmosus) as the valid name for the genus containing the four species Macchiencyrtus testaceus (Risbec, 1957) comb. nov., M. capensis (Subba Rao, 1971) comb. nov., M. stigmosus Annecke, 1971 comb. rest. and M. tertius Annecke, 1971 comb. rest.
