A Combinatorial Approach to Quantum Gravity

Abstract: Proposal: https://github.com/ratwolfzero/Universe The Golomb Universe begins with a single axiom: never repeat a difference. This combinatorial rule gives rise to time (as the order of distinctions), entropy (as the count of differences), and memory (as structure itself). In Part I, this 1D growth builds an irreversible record of pure distinction. But growth cannot continue indefinitely in one dimension. Once differences saturate the Planck scale, curvature emerges as a combinatorial crowding effect. In Part II, this saturation triggers a bifurcation: 1D → 3D Transition: Scalar curvature Rn grows until a geometric embedding becomes necessary. Gravity from Growth: Ollivier-Ricci curvature κij guides the placement of new marks, mimicking Einstein’s equations. Testable Predictions: Energy gaps (ΔE∼|δκ|) and CMB anomalies arise from discrete curvature dynamics. From irreducible uniqueness grows geometry, gravitation, and perhaps all of physics — one irreversible difference at a time.
