Abstract: The project provides guidance on securely managing very important personal data within and between organisations. It demands five absolute rules: lawfully process data and remain clear about how you do it, only use data for the reason you got it, enforce protection with technology and policies, make sure all data stays accurate and enable anyone to access their data easily and without problems. The framework manages the special care required for high-sensitivity assets—e-mail credentials, details for banks, insurance and PAN, driver-licence IDs, certificates for education, hall-ticket numbers, as well as valuable scans, photos, music and videos—and identifies controls that guarantee good practises around them. If you obey these regulations, your risks are controlled, your compliance is proven and the public continues to trust you
