Pityokteines curvidens (Germar, 1824) Tomicus curvidens Germar, 1824 Hosts: Pinaceae Notes: The presence of this species in South Africa is based on the distribution listed in Wood & Bright (1992) and Knízek (2007) who lists this species as introduced to South Africa, but no more specific records or specimens were found.
