Securing and Enhancing Web Browser Security through Cookie Encryption

Abstract: e propose SecureCookieGuard, a Chrome browser extension that encrypts cookie values on the client side. SecureCookieGuard intercepts cookie operations: it encrypts cookie values using strong symmetric encryption (e.g. AES-256) before storage and decrypts them as needed for web requests. This preserves normal browsing behavior while providing confidentiality.
