Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Keki N. Daruwalla is a major contemporary voice in Indian Poetry in English. He makes his poetry alive by creating situations which offer dramatic effect. His view of love and sex is thoroughly Indian. He gives a colloquial and ironical touch to his words which directly or indirectly reflect the society and its role in shaping the personality of the nation. Though he gives prominence to content, he also makes a good use of figures of speech. He makes the people morally conscious so that they may transform themselves into good citizens, who will tread the path of peace and prosperity.
