Abstract: This technical note documents a new empirical record in the Collatz (3n+1) iteration. A specific 100-digit starting value is shown to reach 1 after 3534 steps—the longest total stopping time known to date. The full trajectory has been verified, and a cryptographic SHA-256 hash is included to ensure reproducibility. This publication serves as a timestamped, citable record of the discovery. A short Python script has been provided for verification.
