Virtual Cake Try-On: AI-Based 2D Visualization and Customization

Abstract: These days, many people prefer ordering cakes online because it’s easy and convenient. However, one of the common problems is that customers don’t know exactly how their customized cake will look until they receive it. This often leads to confusion or disappointment if the cake doesn’t meet their expectations.To solve this issue, our project introduces a Virtual Cake Try-On system. It uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and simple 2D visuals to show customers how their cake will look before they place the order. The system allows users to pick everything - the flavour, shape, colour, layers, decorations, and even the text they want on the cake. After selecting these, the system creates a clear preview image of the cake.This way, customers can see and confirm their design, which helps avoid mistakes or wrong orders. It also makes online cake shopping easier, more reliable, and fun, as people get to design and visualize their cakes just the way they imagine.
