Abstract: This article presents an analytical study of the small-sized coin from the Ayutthaya period, “Dok Mai Phra Ruang,” a soft lead cast coin characterized by its circular flan, central perforation, and surrounding floral petal patterns. The research focuses on the historical context, physical characteristics, and comparative analysis with other size variants to understand the role and significance of the small size. The analysis indicates that the dimensions, weight, material, casting method, and surface patina are consistent with genuine coins from the Ayutthaya period.
