Abstract: This article presents information on the methodology, methods, and mechanisms for improving the listening competence of students in the undergraduate music education program. The pedagogical conditions for methodologically improving the listening competence of students in the process of musical pedagogical education are the result of the purposeful selection, design, and application of content elements, methods (techniques), and organizational forms of teaching to achieve the goal.
