Abstract: ABSTRACTThe current study was conducted on mango cultivar ‘Amrapali’ to evaluate the impact ofdifferent concentration ofNaphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) and panicle bagging on floweringbehaviour, yield, and fruit quality under foothill of Nagaland. Treatments involved foliarapplication of NAA at the prebloom stage with three concentrations T1 (40 ppm), T2 (100ppm), and T3 (200 ppm) along with panicle bagging performed at the marble stage. Theexperiment followed a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications.Foliar application of NAAsignificantly influenced flowering, fruit yield, and quality traits.Among the treatments, NAA at 100 ppm resulted in the highest number of panicles perbranch and improved floweringhowever the combination of 40 ppm NAA and paniclebagging yielded the highest fruit set and overall yield. Additionally, 200 ppm NAAcombined with bagging proved most effective in enhancing fruit set as well as the physicalcharacteristics of the fruit. However, the application of NAA and bagging did not showstatistically significant changes in most bio-chemical parameters, except for juice content, ascorbic acid levels, and the TSS: acid ratio.
