Patterned Coherence Across Change - The PUTMAN Model as a Bridge Between Physics, Neuroscience, and Theology (Patterned Understanding Through Meaning And Narrative)
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This paper presents the PUTMAN model—Patterned Understanding Through Meaning And Narrative—as a symbolic-structural framework uniting insights from physics, neuroscience, and theology. Drawing on quantum tunneling, constructive memory research, and the Christian archetype of Incarnation–Crucifixion–Resurrection, the model proposes that identity persists through transformation via recursive recontextualization. Integrated with the Unified Resonance Field / Recursive Ontological Structure (URF/ROS) framework, PUTMAN describes how relational pattern, sustained in a coherent field, allows survival through contradiction without loss of essence. The work engages both empirical and symbolic reasoning, offering cross-disciplinary applications in science, sacramental theology, artificial intelligence, and narrative therapy.
