Anita Hill-s and Thomas Clarence-s Hearings Implication for Race, Power, and Sex in the United States of America.pdf
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The Anita Thomas Clarence's hearing has a lot of implications for the Americans, Black Americans, Black women and the global entity. It is a counter to the belief in race, depicting that merit is valued highly and above race. Anywhere in the world, merit is an outstanding disposition that has the capacity to downplay other possibilities. It creates a more pristine national awareness about sexual harassment. It brings into focus and action women's involvement in politics and women's unequal representation in the political sphere. It also exposes the post–colonial mentality of blacks against blacks and the ridicule of blacks by the whites based on their view of themselves.
