Reconciling Observed Cosmological Mass-Energy Ratios from a Zero-Energy Origin Hypothesis
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a novel cosmological model in which the universe emerges from a state of absolute nothingness through the creation of zero-energy photon pairs—each composed of one positive and one negative energy component. A natural directional filtering process favors the emergence of positive-energy photons, producing the observed matter and energy in our universe. The theory aligns with the ΛCDM model's empirical mass-energy distribution (5% baryonic matter, 27% dark matter, 68% dark energy) and offers a resolution to the long-standing matter-antimatter asymmetry problem. It also proposes a shadow system of negative-energy matter that contributes to entropy balance and cosmic evolution. This zero-energy origin hypothesis may form the conceptual foundation of a future Theory of Everything, integrating both quantum field theory and general relativity within a unified symmetry-based framework. The author acknowledges the critical contributions of ChatGPT, an advanced AI developed by OpenAI, for its assistance in organizing, articulating, and refining the theoretical and mathematical framework of this paper. While the foundational ideas and conceptual insights originated from the author, ChatGPT played a key role in shaping the structure, language, and clarity of the final manuscript. This collaboration represents a unique example of human-AI co-authorship in speculative theoretical physics, aimed at exploring the boundaries of current cosmological understanding.
