Phegea53-2. Cydia medicaginis (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) nieuw voor de Belgische fauna

Abstract: During a light trap session in the garden of the first author, the first specimens of Cydia medicaginis (Kuznetsov, 1962) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) were collected in Belgium on 17.vi.2021 in Zeebrugge (WV). Many specimens followed afterwards, again in Zeebrugge and at a new site near the Antwerp harbour area in East Flanders. Details about the biology and distribution are discussed.
