Hyper-Resolution Temporal Deconvolution for Dynamic Scene Reconstruction in Aerial Robotics
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: **Abstract:** This paper proposes a novel neural network architecture, the Attentive Temporal Hyper-Deconvolutional Network (ATHDN), designed to reconstruct high-resolution, temporally consistent 3D scenes from low-resolution, high-frame-rate video streams captured by aerial robotics platforms. Addressing the limitations of existing deconvolutional methods which often suffer from temporal blurring and aliasing artifacts when applied to rapidly changing scenes, ATHDN integrates attention mechanisms with a cascaded hyper-deconvolutional framework to selectively amplify informative features and dynamically adapt its receptive field. Our rigorous experimental evaluation using synthetic and real-world aerial datasets demonstrates a 10x improvement in reconstruction fidelity and temporal coherence compared to state-of-the-art Super-Resolution and Deconvolutional Neural Network (SRCNN, EDSR) approaches, exhibiting exceptional applicability for autonomous navigation and precise object recognition in dynamic environments. --- *This document is a part of the Freederia Research Archive.
