Abstract: The creator of any scientific work bases their writing on two pillars: either they speak based on their own thoughts and findings, or they draw on the words and writings of others. Scientific ethics dictate that the use of others' words and writings should be accompanied by references to their sources, allowing readers to quickly and easily identify the original source and refer to it if necessary. For this reason, the existence of a comprehensive style guide based on accepted methods in reputable academic circles, serving as a citation guide for Persian and English sources and usable by Persian-speaking authors, is deemed essential. The book "Iran Style Guide" aims to address this need as a citation guide for Persian and English sources in the author-date format. This style guide not only introduces the author-date system but also explains how to cite various sources in both print and electronic forms, providing examples for them.
