Type: article
Abstract: In this research, we present our results about the simple and efficient method for the synthesis of different benzothiazoles using the four-component Ullman coupling reaction of acyl isothiocyanate-nitro compounds adducts and dihalobenzene in the vicinity of K2CO3 as a base, copper catalyst, in THF solvent, and at room temperature, has been done successfully. The use of mild copper catalytic reaction conditions, simple and available raw materials, easy purification with the help of solvent, and finally the synthesis of 10 new compounds from the benzothiazoles family are notable features of this protocol.
