Abstract: The AI Paradox: Revolution, Responsibility, and the Future of Human-Led Science examines AI's transformative role in science, from Nobel-winning AlphaFold to GNoME and Prithvi, while tackling ethical issues like bias, transparency, and authorship. As an independent researcher, I propose a global, equitable AI ecosystem, synthesizing recent 2024 breakthroughs and the EU AI Act to ensure sustainable progress. This perspective aligns with Nature’s mission to spark interdisciplinary dialogue.
