Abstract: Progress in fundamental Terahertz research and technology strongly depends on the availability of profound and reliable data assets. Sustainable and open research data management provides technical infrastructure as well as a basis for standardized data catalogues in order to overcome this known bottleneck. The project VERIE demonstrates how a customized database in combination with quality measures can lead to a new external data repository for Terahertz research.
