Abstract: Both the STS research project and the technical capstone focus on devices that generate electricity from wind power. The STS research involves a case study of a specific wind farm, while the technical report centers on the design and development of an innovative device for harvesting wind energy. The goal of the technical capstone was to design a modular instrument capable of efficiently capturing energy in underutilized, urban environments. Insights gained from the wind farm case study in the STS project were used to inform and strengthen the technical project, enhancing its potential for success in real-world applications.
