Abstract: Automobiles account for 30% of Switzerland’s greenhouse gas emissions, prompting a pivot towards sustainable transport. This study examined public sentiment on a research-based vision for cities to transition to an E-Bike City (EBC) – prioritizing sustainable modes by reallocating street space to micromobility. Public perceptions were explored through content analysis of comments from a newspaper article about the EBC initiative, with ~33,000 views and 435 comments.
