Abstract: ILLUQ is EU Horizon Europe funded reserach project. It studies what happens to organic matter and contaminants that are released from the thawing arctic permafrost. In collaboration with local stakeholders, it will provide the first holistic look at permafrost thaw, pollution and human and environmental well-being in the Arctic. This is a general introduction presentation of the project.
