Abstract: It is emphasized in the article that the students who have to study "Algebra" as a compulsory subject got acquainted with concepts such as "set of integers", "division" on this set, "residual division" and solved many tasks related to them. However, there are types of tasks that are difficult to solve. The article evaluates the role of the comparison relationship in the circle of integers, its properties and also the teaching of some related theorems in overcoming such difficulties, in the mental development of students and in the formation of their mathematical creative abilities, and some possibilities of their application in solving mathematical problems with an increasing level of complexity are investigated.
