Abstract: 196. Synura taymyrensis (Kristiansen) Kapustin, comb. et stat. nov. Basionym: Synura petersenii f. taymyrensis Kristiansen in Kristiansen et al. 1997. Nova Hedw. 65: 347, figs. 29, 30. Registration: http://phycobank.org/104968 Krasnoyarsk Territory (Kristiansen et al. 1997); Republic of Yakutia (Bessudova et al. 2021, 2022a,b). Remark. This taxon has very characteristic scales with a broad elliptic keel ornamented by a hexagonal pattern and a large base-plate hole. There is no doubt that this taxon should be considered as a distinct species rather than a form.
