QTIP Cosmology: A Novel Framework for Information-Based Universe Representation and Physical Interpretation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents QTIP (Quell-based Tick-type Information Processing), a novel cosmological model that reinterprets the universe as a conditionally expressive information processing system. Inspired by the architecture and logic of modern computing, QTIP conceptualizes the observable universe as a three-dimensional Real Domain projected from an underlying Imaginary Domain of absolute information. At the core of this model are Quells—discrete, wavefunction-based information containers—and two types of processors: the Information PR, which computes from the Imaginary Domain, and the Projection PR, which conditionally expresses information into the Real Domain based on discrete temporal units called Ticks (T₄). QTIP offers a unified explanation for relativistic and quantum phenomena by separating the domains of information existence and expression. It provides new interpretations of black holes, redshift, quantum entanglement, photon duality, and the cosmic microwave background (CMB), not by rejecting existing theories, but by embedding them within a deeper, information-centric framework. Under QTIP, space is fixed, time flows in quantized ticks, and reality emerges only when conditions for projection are met. This framework offers profound implications not only for cosmology, but also for quantum information, AI systems, and precision measurement. The full Korean manuscript is included as an appendix for bilingual reference.
