Abstract: In Tamil language we can find ancient grammatical literary richness. Ancient literature and grammars depict human life. As the time adapts to the change, literature has taken a new form every day. Pudhukavitha is one of them, in Tamil literature Pudhukavitha poet Meera gets her own unique identity and underlines the social woes through her works. Needles is one of his creations. The present day social issues are explored through this essay.
