Abstract: This paper discusses the problem of determining the continuity and discontinuity points of a function, by analysing the definition and properties of the continuity and discontinuity points of a function, describing the method of determining different types of discontinuity points with specific examples, and further discussing the application and importance of continuity and discontinuity points in practical problems.
