Abstract: This repository includes the outcomes of the GEOLAB Transnational Access project SURE, carried out at the Universite Gustave Eiffel's geotechnical centrifuge facilities and coordinated by ProRail, Arcadis, Deltares, and Delft University of Technology. The main goal of SURE is to investigate the effect of an increased use of railways on the stability of a section of embankment founded on soft soil, as typically encountered within the Netherlands infrastructure. The project included four separate centrifuge tests, including two models of undrained monotonic loading of the embankment section until failure, and two additional models of cyclic loading resembling typical and increased train passages over the embankment section.
