Abstract: Objective. The article tries to substantiateonce again the truth that the qualitative differencebetween certain types of offences isan objective reality. It is due to the differencein objective and subjective features, i.e. thenature of objects, subjects, acts, consequencesand other features which are characteristicof different types of offences. At the sametime, any offence by definition causes harmto specific subjects of social relations. Offencesharm social relations defined by lawand therefore pose a danger to the stablefunctioning and development of society.
