Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This dataset supports the systematic literature review conducted in the paper titled "Bridging Reasoning and Interpretability: A Review of Chain-of-Thought and Explainable AI in Medical Diagnosis Systems". It includes metadata and categorization of 69 peer-reviewed articles obtained through Scopus. Each entry was analyzed for its relevance to explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), chain-of-thought (CoT) reasoning, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and their applications in medical diagnosis systems. This dataset aims to assist researchers in identifying key research trends, thematic gaps, and opportunities for future work in the intersection of medical AI, reasoning models, and interpretability techniques.
