IRoute: INDOOR NAVIGATION APP

Year: 2024

Type: article

Abstract: Frustrated by unreliable GPS indoors, IRoute offers a solution. This innovative indoor navigation app leverages Augmented Reality (AR) for pinpoint wayfinding within buildings. Unlike traditional outdoor navigation, IRoute's real-time location tracking is powered by Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technology. Explore universities, shopping malls, or any indoor environment with ease. IRoute provides an interactive map brimming with detailed information and utilizes efficient routing algorithms to find the shortest path. This powerful combination of AR and SLAM empowers users to navigate complex indoor spaces effortlessly, ensuring a smooth and frustration-free experience.
