The NeuroY Architecture Oblique Cortex, Symmetric Core, and the Geometric Logic of Neural Routing

Abstract: This paper introduces the NeuroY Architecture, a design-based geometric model for understanding neural decussation, reflex integration, and spatial routing in the central nervous system. Unlike prior evolutionary or developmental explanations, the NeuroY framework proposes that decussation is a strategic and geometrically optimized solution, ensuring field-coherent, efficient, and protected routing of sensory, motor, and autonomic signals. The model describes how lateralized cortical arms, a central brainstem junction, and bundled spinal tracts form a unified Y-shaped structure. In addition, the paper introduces the concepts of the Temporal Tilt Distortion and Tilt Paradox, explaining why hypothetical non-decussating pathways introduce spatial inefficiencies, while physiologic ipsilateral and bilateral systems maintain geometric coherence. Hemisphere-bound reflex coherence, central bundling strategies, and a dual field-stabilization logic are discussed as design principles organizing CNS architecture. Novel predictions are proposed for tilt-related distortions in auditory, trigeminal, and brainstem reflex pathways.
