D1.7 - RP2 update of the data management plan

Abstract: This is the updated version of the MAPWORMS DMP, which should be considered a living document that can be revised and will be matured based on the progress achieved through the lifecycle of the project. In this version the main updates include the following: ✓ Update of biological data collected regarding the marine annelid fauna occurring along the Salento Peninsula coastline (Italy) through two sources: from literature data and from sampling events. ✓ Standardisation of data and metadata collected according to Darwin Core Standards. ✓ Update of Micro CT metadata records. ✓ Definition of the controlled vocabularies used with examples given according to provided information. ✓ Change of the definition of patent data to patent-search data, as WP6 is referred to the search for existing patent data, rather than the generation of new data that will potentially turn out from all technical WPs of the project. ✓ Update of the MAPWORMS community in Zenodo. ✓ Separation of the anatomical modelling data and update of its description. ✓ Standardisation of the different data types available in Zenodo MAPWORMS community; according to MAPWORMS naming conventions presented in Table 2 and enrichment of metadata records in accordance with the Article 17 of the MAPWORMS grant agreement.
