Impresso Datalab Workshop: Programmatic Access and Annotation Services for Multilingual and Multimodal Historical Media Collections

Abstract: In this workshop/hackathon, participants will be introduced to the new Impresso Datalab, developed within the scope of the research project Impresso Media Monitoring of the Past — Beyond Borders. The Impresso Datalab enables custom analyses of the Impresso corpus - composed of digitised multilingual historical newspapers and radio archives - and the semantic indexation of external document collections with the help of models created by the project.
