Abstract: Atherigona (Atherigona) bowdeni Dike, 1989 Atherigona bowdeni Dike, 1989a: 548, figs 7, 8; Dike 2003: 219 (distribution). Material examined: 1♂, Rundu District, Simanya: Okavango River, 17°33'17''S, 18°32'30''E, 23–24.i.1998, [A.H.] Kirk-Spriggs & [E.] Marais, Malaise traps, riverine forest (NMNW). Remarks: The above cited specimen was compared to the holotype deposited in NMWC. Distribution: (Afrotropical): Namibia * and Uganda (not subsequently recorded). Recorded predator: Recorded as larval food in the nest of Dasyproctus bipunctatus Lepeletier & Brullé (Hymenoptera: Crabronidae).
