Wave Unification Theory: A Deterministic, Local Framework Resolving Quantum Measurement via Wave Interactions (Conceptual Proposal)

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents the foundational concepts of Wave Unification Theory (WUT), a theoretical framework aiming for a deterministic, local, and unified description of physics based on a wave-only ontology. WUT challenges standard quantum mechanical interpretations by proposing that quantum phenomena, including measurement outcomes and correlations, arise from deterministic local interactions governed by hidden variables (λ) inherent in the waves. The theory reinterprets measurement via a specific interaction rule (O(s,λ)), demonstrated in appendices to reproduce Malus's Law statistically and Bell test correlations locally through a specific LHV model construction. Furthermore, computational evidence supporting the statistical emergence of the Born rule from deterministic, intensity-driven wave interactions is presented. WUT postulates that all fundamental entities (particles, forces, constants) and potentially spacetime geometry are emergent properties arising from the dynamics of these underlying waves. This document serves as an initial outline and conceptual proposal, establishing the foundational ideas of WUT while acknowledging that substantial mathematical development is required to derive quantitative predictions, discover the fundamental wave equations, and rigorously test the framework against established physics.
