EJP Soil - Energy Link: Report and data on soil micorbial necromass

Abstract: This report provides information on the progress of work within WP3, Task 3.3. This task (led by Rajasekaran Murugan and Erich Inselsbacher) is dedicated to analyses of microbial necromass, using amino sugars as biomarkers for fungal and bacterial necromass. Details on the extraction and sample preparation protocol are listed, as well as on the analysis of amino sugars by UHPLC. Finally, an overview of samples which have been analysed and the results are presented.
