Abstract: Introduction: Road traffic accidents (RTAs) are a major public health concern worldwide, often resulting in significant ocular trauma. This study provides a thorough examination of ocular injuries sustained in RTAs, focusing on gender differences, injury patterns, and visual acuity outcomes in a tertiary care setting. Materials and Methods: A prospective cross-sectional study was conducted at the ophthalmology department of Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Center. Data were collected from RTA patients with ocular injuries over a six-month period.
