Abstract: In today's digital age, the development of critical thinking skills is very important in Christian education, especially for young people in the church who are grappling with the challenges posed by the rapid flow of information. Christian education plays a strategic role in the character and moral development of young people in the church, as well as in instilling strong values of faith. However, the emergence of digital technology requires the process of religious and moral education to adapt in order to maintain its relevance and effectiveness in fostering critical thinking skills. Digital literacy is an urgent necessity to facilitate this process, as young church members must have the ability to discern and evaluate information obtained from various digital sources, as well as engage in critical thinking regarding the content presented. In addition, digital literacy serves as a mechanism to enhance understanding of Christian teachings through digital media, thereby fostering critical thinking grounded in faith. This literature review seeks to examine the role of Christian religious education in enhancing the critical thinking skills of young church members in the digital age, with an emphasis on approaches to integrating digital literacy into faith and ethics learning. This approach aims to enable young church members to develop beyond being merely faithful individuals, developing their capacity to engage critically with rapidly evolving digital information and culture. Therefore, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of the potential role of Christian religious education in improving the critical thinking skills of young church members amid the challenges of the digital age, as well as identifying effective strategies that can be applied in the context of digital faith-based learning.
