Abstract: Acanthoscelides multialbonotatus (Pic, 1923). Combination confirmed. Bruchus multialbonotatus Pic, 1923: p. 14. From label: “Nova Friburg / Bresil” [Brazil]. Syntype male deposited in the MNHN. There is a “ Holotype ” label affixed to this specimen not added by M. Pic. However, the original publication does not designate a holotype nor does it indicate the number of specimens examined. Because no lectotype has been published, this must therefore be considered a syntype.
