Abstract: The main objective of this study was to determine the relationship between records management system (RMS) utilization and employee satisfaction within Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU). The research sought to pinpoint areas for improvement within the RMS, such as interface intuitiveness, data integrity, and security training, with the goal of enhancing user satisfaction and maximizing the benefits derived from the system's utilization. The study utilized a descriptive correlational design to examine the relationship between the utilization of records management systems and employee satisfaction within a university setting. Additionally, simple random sampling was utilized to select 100 respondents, comprising employees from various departments across selected campuses. The research instrument used in this study was a researcher-made survey questionnaire and the statistical treatment employed was four-point Likert Scale to describe the level of utilization and employee satisfaction of the RMS. Furthermore, the Pearson Product Correlation Coefficient was used to determine the relationship between RMS utilization and employee satisfaction in the University. The findings revealed a significant relationship between records management system utilization and employee’s satisfaction in OLFU. There was a low positive to high positive relationship, while the computed probability values were lesser than the level of significant; thus, the null hypothesis was rejected. Moreover, areas such as interface intuitiveness, data integrity, and security training were identified as needing improvement to further enhance user satisfaction and the benefits derived from the utilization of the Records Management System.
