Abstract: This article studies the pedagogical possibilities of popularizing national musical culture among young people. The importance of music education in promoting national culture, its educational and aesthetic possibilities are highlighted. The educational power of music in forming the aesthetic taste of young people through national music, strengthening their sense of patriotism, and developing them as individuals is analyzed. The article presents practical recommendations on the effectiveness of using interactive and innovative methods in working with pupils and students, and on the use of national musical instruments in the classroom. The role and possibilities of modern technologies in attracting young people to national musical culture are also considered.
