Abstract: This document contains the slide presentation delivered by Dr. Monica Favaro (CNR-ICMATE) during a public round table on Gender Equality and Inclusion, held on May 14, 2025, as part of the 11th Joint EuroSOI Workshop and International Conference on Ultimate Integration on Silicon (EuroSOI-ULIS 2025) in Warsaw, Poland. The presentation provides an overview of gender disparities in STEM, supported by data and research findings, and describes the initiatives implemented by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) to promote gender equality and a more inclusive work environment within the research ecosystem.
