Abstract: The paper highlights the urgent need to develop international communication readiness among officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of Euro-Atlantic integration and multinational military cooperation. The author conceptualizes this readiness as a complex construct combining linguistic, intercultural, communicative, professional, and psychological competencies. Particular attention is paid to current challenges in Ukrainian military education institutions, including insufficient contact hours, lack of standardised methodologies, and limited exposure to authentic international communication. Recommendations are provided for improving educational practices through curriculum reform, integrative approaches, and increased practical language use in military contexts.
