Designing Electrochemical Pathways for Recycling Rare Earth Metals from Electronic Waste
Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Electrochemical pathways offer a sustainable solution for recycling rare earth metals (REMs) from electronic waste, addressing critical supply chain challenges and environmental impacts. This study investigates the efficiency and scalability of electrochemical methods for recovering REMs from various e-waste components. Results demonstrate significant advancements in recovery rates, purity, and energy efficiency, supporting the development of sustainable recycling technologies.
