Strategic planning of Ukrainian meat processing enterprises under martial law

Abstract: The subject of the study. The article is devoted to the study of theoretical aspects of strategic planning that can be used to ensure the stability and development of the meat processing industry in Ukraine. Research methods. The main problems of development of the meat processing industry are highlighted. The mechanisms of planning and adaptation of production processes of meat processing enterprises under martial law are considered. Results of work. The possibilities of introducing innovations and supporting the sustainable development of meat processing enterprises in Ukraine under martial law are investigated. Taking into account the efficiency and success of meat processing enterprises, it is determined that special attention should be paid to the strategic planning of their activities, since it involves the definition of specific goals and objectives that are interrelated with each other and with the available resource potential. Measures for systematic risk management and ensuring the continuity of business processes at enterprises are proposed. Martial law has a significant impact on the functioning of industrial enterprises, forcing them to revise their strategic plans. The loss of markets, destruction of infrastructure, supply problems and instability of financial flows create the need to adapt strategic planning to new realities.The martial law poses numerous challenges for meat processing companies in Ukraine, but the right development strategies can ensure their sustainability and successful operation. Adaptation of production processes, effective risk management, ensuring business continuity, innovation and adherence to the principles of sustainable development are key aspects that contribute to the survival and prosperity of enterprises in difficult conditions. Conclusions. The development strategy of meat processing companies should be flexible, adaptive and focused on long–term success. Ukrainian meat processing enterprises should take into account all new opportunities and risks and take them into account in strategic planning and further activities to ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise.
