Smart System for Vehicles Protection

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Road accidents in India are a major concern, primarily caused by drowsy driving, drunk driving, and overspending. Our project introduces a Smart Vehicle Protection System using embedded technology to monitor and prevent these risks. It integrates an alcohol sensor to detect intoxicated drivers, a sleep detector to monitor drowsiness, and a speed sensor to prevent overspending. A GPS module provides real-time tracking and railway crossing alerts, while a GSM modem sends emergency notifications to ensure quick response in critical situations. The system also includes an Android display and speaker for instant alerts, helping drivers stay aware and responsive. By combining real-time monitoring, automated safety alerts, and smart accident prevention mechanisms, this system aims to enhance road safety, minimize human errors, and reduce fatalities. It is a cost-effective and practical solution for safer transportation, suitable for both personal and commercial vehicles.
